The Oklahoma Transportation Commission’s monthly meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, in the R.A. Ward Transportation Building, 200 N.E. 21st St., Oklahoma City. Members of the public and media are invited to attend or watch the livestream video online.
Items to be addressed at the meeting:
- Oklahoma Department of Transportation Executive Director Tim Gatz will speak on the recent Attorney General’s opinion.
- Gatz will discuss the ongoing federal funding Continuing Resolution and what to expect next.
- He will also mention partnerships and efforts being taken to prepare for the upcoming total solar eclipse.
- Commissioners will consider a project installing additional traffic cameras in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metros.
- The commission will vote on whether to award several contracts, among them a resurfacing project on US-69 between Eufaula and Checotah and two projects in Lawton, reconstruction of Gore Blvd. and a safety improvement project on US-62/Rogers Lane.
