The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is presenting a virtual open house to provide information and get public input on proposed improvements to the US-81 and SH-7 junction between Duncan and Marlow in Stephens County.
The intersection has traffic safety and operational issues, including increasing traffic volumes and the need for improved left turns at US-81 and SH-7.
The virtual open house will allow members of the public to view an interactive map of the area, design proposals for the intersection along with the opportunity to give feedback on the proposals.

Construction at the intersection is scheduled to go to bid in Federal Fiscal Year 2026. Depending on the design alternative ultimately selected, right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation may be required and would begin in 2023, if necessary.
