The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting an open house on Tuesday, Jan. 28 to share ideas for improving the safety of the US-75 and Preston Road junction in Okmulgee County. The proposal is for building an interchange on US-75 at Will Sampson Rd./Preston Road. This would include constructing a bridge over US-75 along with on-and-off ramps. The project is currently scheduled to let for construction in 2024. The open house will highlight the proposal plans and also give the public a chance to ask questions and provide feedback on the project. This will be a come-and-go format with no formal presentation.
