Ryan Moy was named Division Two maintenance engineer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in November 2019. In his new position, Moy will oversee and coordinate the maintenance and preservation of southeast Oklahoma’s existing transportation infrastructure as well as manage response to weather events like snow and ice or flooding. Division Two encompasses Pittsburg, Latimer, Le Flore, Pushmataha, Atoka, Marshall, Bryan, Choctaw and McCurtain Counties.
Moy previously served as the Division Two assistant construction engineer, beginning in July 2018. Prior to this, he served as a resident engineer in Antlers, as acting assistant resident engineer in McAlester and as a project manager in McAlester. His career at ODOT began in 2007.
Moy has been involved in the ongoing project to reconstruct US-69/75 near Durant and the replacement of the mile-long Willis bridge over Lake Texoma.
Moy is a licensed professional engineer and 2007 graduate from the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Moy and his wife, Janae, live in Krebs, and he is a life long resident of southeast Oklahoma.
