Annette Wisk Jacobi's longstanding commitment to public service was recently recognized by the Oklahoma Bar Association, which named her one of five recipients of the 2026 Mona Salyer Lambird Spotlight Award. She received the award during the Women in Law Conference on Oct. 2 in Oklahoma City.
Since 2017, Jacobi has served as executive director of the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY), overseeing the agency's work to improve outcomes for Oklahoma's children and youth.
The award recognizes women who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession and helped create opportunities for others. It honors Mona Salyer Lambird, the first woman to serve as president of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Jacobi has more than 30 years of experience in public health and child advocacy, with a focus on strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, she began her career with the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy and later completed specialized graduate training in child abuse and neglect through the university's Department of Pediatrics.
Her work includes helping develop a statewide home visiting program that served as a model for other states.
Jacobi's community involvement includes serving on nonprofit boards and national committees that address human services issues. She currently serves as vice chair of the Oklahoma City Housing Authority.
In 2017, she founded Martha's Giving Circle, a philanthropic organization that brings women together to support nonprofits through charitable giving and volunteer service.
The October 2026 issue of The Oklahoma Bar Journal featured Jacobi among this year's award recipients.
