The Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth is seeking a qualified and service-oriented professional to join its team as an Administrative Assistant II. This full-time position, based in Oklahoma County, offers an opportunity to support programs and daily operations that serve children, youth, and families across the state.
Working under the direction of the Executive Assistant, this position provides essential administrative and clerical support to leadership and program areas. The role serves as a central point of coordination for office operations and is often the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for visitors, callers and general inquiries
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and coordinating deliveries
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating conference room use, including setup and cleanup
- Supporting commission and board meetings, including room preparation, materials, iPads and audiovisual equipment, and meeting minutes
- Maintaining organized physical and electronic records in accordance with agency policies
- Coordinating fleet and records management, including logs and compliance documentation
- Assisting with statewide meetings and conferences for the Post Adjudication Review Board
- Ordering and maintaining office and meeting supplies
- Preparing routine correspondence, reports and other documents
- Supporting data entry, tracking and basic reporting functions
- Assisting with special projects and additional duties as assigned
- Maintaining clean, organized and presentable reception and common areas

Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of administrative, clerical or general office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with audiovisual equipment
