Governor Stitt Appoints Bradley Wilson as Commissioner Representing the Oklahoma Bar Association

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (January 20, 2021) – Effective immediately, Governor Kevin Stitt has selected Bradley J. Wilson to serve as the Commissioner Representing the Oklahoma Bar Association at the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY). He will be replacing Mr. Javier Ramirez of Okmulgee.

Commissioner Wilson resides in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where he is employed with the firm Mordy, Mordy, Pfrehm & Wilson, P.C., focusing his legal practice on banking, collections, foreclosures, real property and contract law, taxation, oil and gas law, and general civil litigation. Throughout his legal career, Mr. Wilson has participated in the representation of deprived children in the Oklahoma District Courts.

“As a professional and a volunteer, I know how important supporting Oklahoma’s children is to the future of our state,” said Commissioner Wilson. “I am honored the governor appointed me to the commission and I look forward to helping them accomplish their mission and goals.”

Commissioner Wilson is an active member in the community and volunteers frequently for non-profit organizations, including serving as both President and Vice President on the board of directors for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Southern Oklahoma, as well as serving as a board member of the First United Methodist Church Preschool, and other various scholarship and community organizations. In his professional capacity, Wilson has served as the Municipal Judge of the City of Ardmore. He is currently a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Carter County Bar Association (where he served as the president in 2014).

“Commissioner Wilson’s experience with children within Oklahoma’s court system, along with his experience with the Oklahoma and Carter County Bar Associations, bolsters what we’re working to accomplish here at OCCY,” said Annette Wisk Jacobi, OCCY executive director. “We are delighted to have him join the commission and look forward to working with him.”

Commissioner Wilson attended Oklahoma State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2004. In 2009, he obtained his juris doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. During his time at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, he earned academic achievement awards in Oklahoma Land Titles and Estate and Gift Taxation. He graduated from Ardmore High School in 1999.
