Governor Stitt Appoints Jonathan Hall as Commissioner Representing Business or Industry

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (November 20, 2020) – Effective immediately, Governor Kevin Stitt has selected Jonathan Hall from Tulsa, Oklahoma to serve as the Commissioner Representing Business or Industry at the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY). He will be replacing Mr. Lee Roland of Oklahoma City.

Commissioner Hall currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and is a Managing Principal at Warburton Capital where he manages day-to-day operations, leads the firm’s advisory and operations teams as well as directs efforts to attract and retain talent. As a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, he works with the firm’s Founding Principal and the Board of Directors to derive and implement strategic decisions regarding the direction of the firm such as mergers and acquisitions, new lines of business, and business development.

"Serving Oklahoma's children, youth, and families has been the focus of my work in the non-profit sector, and I am excited to continue that effort as the representative of Business and Industry on the commission."

Hall also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Oral Roberts University (ORU) teaching Personal Financial Planning and Capital Markets. He serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Emergency Infant Services (EIS) of Tulsa and has served on this board since 2014. EIS provides basic needs help for children five and under including diapers, food, clothing, and formula. The organization also works with families to help them connect to other resources provided within the community. In 2019, Tulsa City Councilor Phil Lakin appointed him to the City of Tulsa Sales Tax Overview Committee, representing District 8. He was recognized in 2016 as one of Tulsa’s “40 Under 40” and is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa, Class 51.

“Commissioner Hall’s background in finance as well as his experience with Emergency Infant Services will blend well with OCCY’s mission and values,” said Annette Wisk Jacobi, director of OCCY. “We’re delighted to have him as part of the commission and look forward to working with him.”

Commissioner Hall earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ORU, where he served as President of the ORU Graduate Business Association. He further earned a Master of Science degree in Financial Services (M.S.F.S.) with an emphasis in Financial Planning from Saint Joseph’s University.
