The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is extending the REAL ID full enforcement date by 19 months, from October 1, 2021 to May 3, 2023, due to circumstances resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

 

All driver license offices now operated by Service Oklahoma (formerly operated by the Department of Public Safety and tag agents) continue to be operational and processing business as usual. Visit service.ok.gov for more information.

Wrecker Services



Beginning October 1st, 2022, DPS Wrecker Services Division will begin renewing Wrecker Licenses for Calendar Year 2023.

Renewal fees are $250.00 per 47 O.S. 72 § 953 C

Wrecker Services division personnel establish and implement procedures for the licensing, supervision, administration and control of wrecker vehicles, and wrecker and towing services.

Requirements to apply for a DPS license to operate a wrecker company in the state of Oklahoma:

NOTE: The Oklahoma Corporation Commission is responsible for all rates and fees charged by wrecker services.
