If you receive a text from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety saying payment has not been received for a traffic violation, disregard and delete. This is a scam. DPS does not collect fines and will never communicate via text.

Proposed Permanent Rules

DPS proposed permanent rules have been approved and will go into effect June 11, 2026.
