After your business is operational you may need to make changes to the setup. These types of changes are called Entity Changes and may include:
- Changing your business name
- Changing your business address
- Moving ownership/registration of an LLC from one individual to another (as a result of a business sale or transfer, death of previous owner, etc)
- Changing the type of business (i.e. from a sole proprietorship to an LLC)
These changes are made through the Oklahoma Secretary of State’s office.
If you want to dissolve or terminate your business, you must submit the Certificate of Dissolution to the Oklahoma Secretary of State.
