Board Members
The Board of Tests for Alcohol and Drug Influence (BOT) governing board is an eight-member body appointed by statute. Members set broad departmental policy and through application of science, training and providing certification standards, ensure the quality of the breath testing programs across Oklahoma.
- One member, who shall be the Dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, or a designee
- One member, who shall be the Commissioner of Public Safety or a designee;
- One member, who shall be the Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation or a designee;
- One member, who shall be the State Commissioner of Health or a designee;
- One member, who shall be the Director of the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training or a designee;
- One member, who shall be a certified peace officer who is a member of a local law enforcement agency selected by the Oklahoma Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association:
- One member, who shall be selected by the Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police
- One member, who shall be the Dean of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, or a designee
