New dashboard illuminates federal funding allocations and project progress
OKLAHOMA CITY – Today, the OMES Grants Management Office (GMO) is launching a new public tool for monitoring the state’s disbursement of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars. The ARPA Program Tracker dashboard provides deeper insight into the allocation of federal relief funds, fostering deeper transparency of how these funds are being used across the state. This initiative reinforces the state’s commitment to accountability and gives visibility into where taxpayer dollars are being invested to address the needs of our communities.
“One of our key objectives is to keep our partners and citizens informed about the impactful projects that ARPA funds support, and this dashboard is a powerful tool in achieving that goal,” says Caden Cleveland, director of the GMO.
Since the federal government awarded a total of $1.87 billion ARPA funds to the State of Oklahoma, the GMO has helped distribute $428.06 million, or 22.89%, toward 75 projects, which went through a competitive application process before being chosen by the state Legislature. The new dashboard shows in real time the progress of disbursing those funds, including how much is going to each project, what those projects entail and projected completion dates.
The APRA Program Tracker dashboard can be found at oklahoma.gov/arpa/arpa-program-tracker.html. For more information about the state’s distribution of ARPA funds, please visit oklahoma.gov/arpa.
