Oklahoma City, OK – The OMES Grants Management Office (GMO) recently submitted its last quarterly report for calendar year 2023 to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. By submitting these reports on behalf of the State of Oklahoma, the GMO is helping ensure compliance with federal requirements and showcasing the state's diligent efforts to disburse federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars for the good of Oklahomans.
“This achievement would not have been possible without the collaboration of our partner agencies,” said Grants Management Director Parker Wise. “Their continued commitment to organization and timely provision of essential information in the required format has played a pivotal role in meeting our reporting deadlines.”
Each quarter, the GMO team works with agency subrecipients to compile the information that outlines what Oklahoma’s projects are, how much money has been expended per project and any program questions or labor reporting.
“The reporting to the treasury might seem repetitive, but in the long run it helps keep everybody on track,” said Ryan Sherer, grants analyst for the GMO. “There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to turning federally funded projects into a reality. Pulling these reports together every three months requires consistent communication and shared insights at the state level, so we stay aligned with compliance standards.”
Citizens can stay informed through the ARPA Program Tracker. This interactive dashboard provides real-time updates on the state's disbursement of ARPA funds toward essential projects chosen by the Oklahoma State Legislature.
OMES remains dedicated to transparency and accountability in the utilization of federal funds, fostering a sense of shared responsibility for the well-being and prosperity of our state.
