SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike interchange improvement at Ragan Road begins Monday
A nearly $5 million SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike interchange improvement project at Ragan Road/E. 131 Rd. is scheduled to begin Monday between mm 81 - 82 near Indianola in Pittsburg County. This ACCESS interchange project will be reconstructed from the existing half-diamond interchange to a full-diamond interchange to provide motorists with more options for entering and exiting the turnpike near the community of Indianola.
The interchange at the intersection of SH-/375/Indian Nation Turnpike and Ragan Rd. will remain open during construction. However, Ragan Rd. will be reduced to one lane in both directions, with temporary signals directing traffic, for the duration of the project. Furthermore, the Indian Nation Turnpike will be narrowed to one lane in each direction while the new ramps are under construction.
The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority awarded the project on March 3 to Built Right Construction. Work is expected to be completed in December 2026. Motorists are encouraged to remain vigilant in the work zone and to obey posted speed limits.
