The southbound, outer lane of S. Yale Ave. at SH-364/Creek Turnpike is closed due to recent heavy rains that caused a 30-year-old drainage pipe to fail. In addition, the sidewalk on the west side of Yale Ave. is closed.
The on-ramp to SH-364/Creek Turnpike is not impacted at this time.
Crews are on-site to stabilize the drainage inlet, prevent further erosion and damage to the sidewalk and pavement, and to replace the damaged pipe.
At this time, there isn't a timeline for when the repairs will be completed, but with the City of Tulsa's partnership, crews are working as quickly as possible.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to be alert in the area.
Notice will be sent with any changes or when repairs are complete.
