New interchange construction project on SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike at Blanco begins Monday

Wednesday, June 17, 2026

A $9 million new diamond interchange will be constructed on the SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike near mile marker 55 at SH-63 near Blanco. This interchange will provide direct access to the town of Blanco and surrounding areas, with northbound and southbound on- and off-ramps. Additionally, the project will provide new drainage and asphalt resurfacing to SH-63.

While overnight lane closures are anticipated for the removal of existing infrastructure, they are expected to be minimal. SH-63 will be narrowed during the project, but will remain open. Notice will be sent prior to any additional lane closures.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect shifts in traffic configuration throughout the project.

New interchanges like this one are part of the ACCESS Oklahoma long-range plan and are now possible due to the turnpike system going fully cashless in late 2024. The project was awarded by the OTA Board in May to Manhattan Road & Bridge Company LLC and is estimated to be completed in early 2027.
