I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike narrows at US-60 in Vinita for bridge repairs
Eastbound I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike remains narrowed to one lane at US-60 (mm 289) in Vinita due to a bridge strike Saturday by an illegally over-height commercial motor vehicle. US-60 is narrowed to one lane with temporary signals to direct traffic underneath the turnpike while crews are on site making repairs to both bridges above it. Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use caution while crews are in the area.
I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike narrows near Afton Tuesday
Eastbound I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike will be narrowed to one lane near US-60 (mm 300) near Afton from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for asphalt repairs.
I-344/John Kilpatrick Turnpike narrows at Council Rd. through summer 2026
The following lane closures will impact traffic on the I-344/John Kilpatrick Turnpike at Council Rd.:
- Eastbound John Kilpatrick Turnpike will have narrowed lane widths, and the lanes will slightly shift at Council Rd. through summer 2026.
- Eastbound Memorial Rd. will be narrowed to one lane between Council Rd. and Rockwell Ave. through summer 2026 for construction of the new lane and the new on-ramp to John Kilpatrick Turnpike.
- Eastbound Council Rd. at Memorial will have restricted turn lanes through August 2026:
- Motorists will not be able to turn left on westbound Memorial Rd. from southbound Council Rd.
- Motorists will not be able to turn right onto Memorial Rd. from northbound Council. Rd.
- Northbound and southbound Council Rd. lanes will be narrowed and shifted between just north of westbound Memorial Rd. and just south of eastbound Memorial Rd. through summer 2026 for the construction of protected turnaround lanes.
SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike narrows at US-270 through July 20
Northbound SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike will be narrowed to one lane at US-270, mile marker 68, through 10 a.m., July 20 for concrete panel replacement.
