US-412/Cimarron Turnpike lane narrows near Hallett at SH-99
Eastbound US-412/Cimarron Turnpike will be narrowed near Hallett at SH-99 (mm 48-50) for concrete buckle repairs. The closure will begin Monday through 3 p.m. Friday, August 21.
SH-364/Creek Turnpike shoulder narrows near Broken Arrow
SH-351/Creek Turnpike westbound shoulder to close near Broken Arrow between Aspen Avenue and Elm Place (mm 18) for retaining wall repairs along the Liberty Trail. This project is estimated to be completed in mid-December 2026.
I-44/Turner Turnpike shoulder narrows between Davenport and Stroud
I-44/Turner Turnpike will have alternating overnight shoulder closures between Davenport and Stroud (mm 173-178) for geotechnical shoulder and in-place soil surveys beginning Monday and continuing through Wednesday, Aug. 19.
- Eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike: Outside shoulder will be closed between Davenport and Stroud (mm 175-178) from 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
- Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike: Outside shoulder will be closed between Stroud and Davenport (mm 175-178) from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday.
- Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike: Outside shoulder will be closed between Stroud and Davenport (mm 173-176) from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike lane narrows nightly near Miami
I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike will have nightly lane closures between SH-125 near Miami and 2 miles past SH-137 near Lincolnville (mm 312-320) from 7 p.m. Monday through 7 a.m. Saturday for the installation of bridge clearance signs. Only one lane in either the eastbound or westbound direction will be narrowed at a time during these operations.
This work is part of an ongoing pavement rehabilitation project between SH-125 and near Lincolnville (mm 312-320). All construction activities are being completed during nighttime hours between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., with work expected to be completed in September 2026.
I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike narrows near Newcastle
Eastbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will be narrowed near Newcastle (mm 104) Tuesday from 8:30 am to 3 pm for concrete repairs to the center wall.
I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike narrows between Walters and Geronimo for pavement reconstruction
I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike between US-277/SH-5 near Walters and SH-36 near Geronimo (mm 20-30) will be narrowed to one lane in both directions as construction begins on a pavement reconstruction project. Construction is expected to continue through early 2028.
The following traffic impacts are scheduled during the initial week of construction, weather permitting:
- Monday through Thursday: Westbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will be narrowed near Geronimo (mm 25-30) for milling and asphalt operations.
- Monday through Thursday: Eastbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will be narrowed near US-277/SH-5 near Walters (mm 20-21) for barrier wall delivery.
- Wednesday: Eastbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will be narrowed near Geronimo (mm 24-30) for barrier wall installation at crossover locations.
- Thursday: Westbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will be narrowed near Geronimo (mm 28-30) for barrier wall installation at crossover locations.
- Friday: Westbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will be narrowed near US-277/SH-5 near Walters (mm 20-25) for milling, asphalt operations, and barrier wall delivery.
- Friday: Westbound I-44/H.E. Bailey Turnpike will also be narrowed near Geronimo (mm 28-30) for barrier wall installation at crossover locations.
SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike nightly ramp closures at US-69 through Friday
The following SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike at US-69 (mm 26) ramps will be affected nightly from 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, to 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, and continuing nightly through Thursday for diamond grind work, weather permitting:
- Eastbound Muskogee Turnpike off-ramp to US-69 will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday. DETOUR: Traffic will continue to the US-62 (mm 34) exit and take US-62 to US-69.
- US-69 on-ramp to eastbound Muskogee Turnpike will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday. DETOUR: Traffic will take US-69 to US-62 (mm 34) and enter at US-62/OK-351 interchange (mm 26).
- Westbound Muskogee Turnpike off-ramp to US-69 will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday. DETOUR: Traffic will exit at US-62 (mm 34) and US-62 to US-69.
- US-69 on-ramp to the westbound Muskogee Turnpike will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday. DETOUR: Traffic will take US-69 to OK-51 (mm 13) and enter at the OK-51/OK-351 interchange (mm 26).
Detours will be required during the scheduled ramp closures.
