SH-364/Creek Turnpike narrows between S. Garnett Rd and W. Florence St. near Broken Arrow through summer 2027
Westbound SH-364/Creek Turnpike is narrowed to one lane and both eastbound and westbound lanes are shifted between S. Garnett Rd & W Florence St. (mm 14-15.5) in Broken Arrow as part of a bridge rehabilitation project over Haikey Creek. All ramps are expected to remain open during this project. Work is expected to continue through summer 2027. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and remain attentive in the work zone.
I-44/Turner Turnpike lanes shifted at SH-66 in Wellston; SH-66 closed as part of bridge widening project
Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike lanes are shifted at SH-66 Wellston (mm 158-157) to a temporary detour for an ongoing bridge reconstruction project through fall 2025. Ramps will remain open during the lane shift. Motorists are advised to slow down for safety and to remain vigilant in the work zone. Additionally, eastbound and westbound SH-66 remains closed in both directions between the off-ramps for the I-44/Turner Turnpike (mm 158) in Wellston through fall 2025. This closure is between SH-102 and US-177 in Lincoln County and has a signed detour route.
I-44/Turner Turnpike narrows east of Bristow through spring 2026
Eastbound and westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike lanes are shifted, and the lane width is narrowed with no shoulders between Bristow mm 197 and SH-66 at mm 203 for the widening of the Turner Turnpike to six lanes. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to watch for heavy equipment entering the work zone.
I-44/Turner Turnpike narrowed at SH-99 near Stroud through early 2026
Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike Lane widths are narrowed between SH-99 (mm 179) in Stroud and the westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike service plaza through early 2026 as part of an ongoing widening and realignment of the westbound lanes.
SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike narrows near Porter through spring 2026
Eastbound and westbound SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike is narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-51 and E. 181st St. (mm 13-16) near Porter as part of a pavement reconstruction project. Ramps are expected to remain open during this time. Work is expected to continue through spring 2026, weather permitting, and will extend from mm 12 just northwest of SH-51 near Coweta to mm 19 at E. 181st St. near Porter. Motorists are advised to expect lane closures in 3-mile segments and to use caution in the area.
Construction on SH-20 near Claremore could impact I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike exit ramps
A construction project impacting SH-20 in Claremore has left turn lanes at SH-20 reduced to one lane. This may cause some back up onto the exit ramps of I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike. This project is slated to last into spring 2026. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
