Bridge rehabilitation on SH-364/Creek Turnpike over Haikey Creek begins Monday

Friday, November 07, 2025

Eastbound and westbound SH-364/Creek Turnpike will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between E. 101st and E. 111th, (mm 15.05 -15.93), beginning Monday, Nov. 10, for continued work on traffic crossovers. Motorists should expect delays in the area.

In a couple of weeks, traffic will be shifted onto the westbound (runs north) bridge where traffic will be in a head-to-head configuration for about one year. Notice will be sent prior to the lane shift.

The nearly $72 million project will address the two 25-year-old bridges over Haikey Creek in Broken Arrow, which will have their concrete deck, parapets and concrete beams replaced, and repairs made to the substructure. Traffic will remain open during construction but will be narrowed to one lane in each direction and shifted onto one bridge while work occurs on the other bridge.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, put away distractions while driving and plan additional travel time through the work zone.

The awarded contractor is OBC Inc. and is work expected to be complete by summer 2027.
