I-44/Turner Turnpike narrows at Kellyville; westbound ramp closes nightly Monday-Friday
Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike will be narrowed to one lane between Kellyville (mm 203) and Bristow (mm 197) in Creek County from 3 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Tuesday and continuing nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday for striping, paving and shifting traffic in the work zone from temporary outside lanes to new center lanes. This also will include the closure of the westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike off-ramp to Kellyville (mm 203) with a ramp detour to Bristow at mm 196. Use caution in the work zone.
I-44/Turner Turnpike narrows west of Kellyville through early 2026
Eastbound and westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike lanes are shifted, and the lane width is narrowed with no shoulders between Bristow mm 197 and SH-66 at mm 203 for the widening of the Turner Turnpike to six lanes. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to watch for heavy equipment entering the work zone.
I-44/Turner Turnpike intermittently narrows Monday afternoon in Wellston for eastbound traffic shift
Eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike will be intermittently narrowed to one lane at Wellston (mm 157-158) through Monday afternoon to shift traffic into its final configuration on the new bridge. Motorists can expect intermittent lane and ramp closures throughout this period while crews complete final striping and move barrier wall for the traffic shift.
SH-66 closed as part of bridge widening project
Eastbound and westbound SH-66 remains closed in both directions between the offramps for the I-44/Turner Turnpike (mm 158) in Wellston through mid-December. This closure is between SH-102 and US-177 in Lincoln County and has a signed detour route.
I-44/Turner Turnpike shoulder closures set nightly near Kickapoo Turnpike this week
Eastbound and westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike will have the following shoulder closures for survey work:
- Eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike shoulder will be closed from just west of the Kickapoo Turnpike at mm 148 and extending east to mm 151 from 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday;
- Westbound I-44/Turner turnpike shoulder will be closed from mm 151 east of Kickapoo Turnpike and extending west to mm 148 just east of the Kickapoo Turnpike from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday;
- Eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike shoulder will be closed from east of the Kickapoo Turnpike at mm 151-154 near SH-102 from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday;
- Westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike shoulder will be closed from mm 154 near SH102 to mm 151 just east of the Kickapoo Turnpike from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
SH-364/Creek Turnpike narrows at Yale Ave. Tuesday
The eastbound SH-364/Creek Turnpike left lane will be closed between Yale Ave. (mm 10) and Memorial Dr. (mm 12) from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for lighting repairs.
SH-364/Creek Turnpike ramp closes to US-169 to access 91st St. Tuesday
The westbound SH-364/Creek Turnpike off-ramp toward US-169 to access E. 91st St. (mm 13) will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for surface repairs. Use an alternate route during this time.
I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike narrows west of Big Cabin Tuesday
Westbound I-44/Will Rogers will be narrowed to one lane at mm 280 just west of Big Cabin from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday for surface repairs.
