SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike narrows at US-69 near McAlester Monday through early April

Northbound and southbound SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at US-69 (mm 63) to mm 62 near McAlester in Pittsburg County from 8:30 a.m. Monday through early April for tolling sensor installation as part of an ongoing cashless conversion project.

Additionally, northbound and southbound SH-375/Indian Nation Turnpike remains narrowed to one lane in each direction between just south of SH-3 to 3 miles north of SH-3 from mm 15-18 through early April for tolling sensor installation. Lanes will be open April 5-8 to accommodate the expected increase in traffic in the area for the April 8 solar eclipse and but will be narrowed again through the end of April.

This $9.4 million project was awarded in December to Built Right Construction. Work is expected to complete by the end of 2024, weather permitting.
