Oklahoma City (Sept. 21, 2018) — The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) is set to open a new PIKEPASS store in Walters, located on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike at Mile Mark 21. A grand opening event will take place on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 at 4 p.m.
“This new location will allow us to serve the community better and continue building relationships with people in southwestern Oklahoma,” OTA Executive Director Tim Gatz said. “Opening a new PIKEPASS store is an example of how we continually listen to our customers and find ways to constantly improve customer service.”
During the grand opening event, new PIKEPASS customers opening an account with a credit card will be given a $40 credit, other restrictions apply. The new PIKEPASS store will be a full-service location. In addition, the Walters store will also allow the OTA to increase staffing levels to its call center operations. OTA is currently recruiting for Customer Assistance Representatives (Phone Agents) through October 1, 2018. Apply online at www.Jobs.OK.GOV.
“Our PIKEPASS stores serve an important role as the first point of contact customers have with OTA,” Gatz said. “This new store will serve as a vital part of our organization by offering friendly, face-to-face customer service that helps us achieve our mission of providing safe, convenient and efficient travel across Oklahoma.”
The new location will be open Mon. - Fri. from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the exception of state holidays.
