On Wednesday, February 18, the Turner Turnpike’s inside east and westbound lanes will closed beginning at 2:00 pm for construction at Luther Road. The lanes will remain closed Wednesday night while construction takes place. Hogback Road will also close due to construction at approximately 9:00 p.m. and will have a detour route in place. Construction crews will be placing steel beams across the turnpike as part of the project to add new ramps and a bigger, more efficient bridge at Luther Road.
