Dear DDS Provider,
The Oklahoma Department of Human Services is pleased to announce a retroactive rate increase equal to 20% of claims for the period beginning January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021. The retroactive rate increases are designed to assist providers in recruiting and retaining staff in this highly competitive labor market. In order to participate in the retroactive rate increase, providers must sign and return the attached attestation regarding the use of funding provided under the retroactive rate increase. Funding for the retroactive rate increase may only be used for the following purposes:
- Employee wages and benefits
- Overtime and or hazard pay
- Recruitment or attendance bonuses
- Other incentive pay
- Health and safety costs
- Other payroll related costs
We are targeting the retroactive rate payments to be sent out mid-January. If we do not receive the completed and signed attestation by the close of business on December 30, 2021, you will not receive the retroactive rate payment in January. For those who have not returned the attestation by the due date, you will have one final opportunity to submit the attestation by close of business January 14, 2022 for payment in February.
