Administrative Letter 22-02       
                                               

Dear Provider:

Effective July 6, 2021, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is no longer required for the following services:

Homemaker – S5130
Homemaker Respite – S5150. 

The EVV codes with the modifier (32) were end dated so no new authorization can be made.  Units currently authorized with modifier (32) for these services will be adjusted by the Provider Support Center.  All new requests for Homemaker and Homemaker Respite should now be made using S5130 and S5150 and will not have a modifier.
