Administrative Letter 23-04
Dear Providers,
After much deliberation, DDS has decided that we need to go back to the drawing board on our needs for a fully customized case management system. This was not an easy decision for our agency. The work we have done up to this point has been critical, but through that effort we have realized our needs to serve this critical population no longer fit within a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution.
Oklahoma Human Services still plans to pursue a statewide case management solution for DDS service recipients and providers. We believe this will offer an opportunity for providers to have more of a voice at the table during this process.
I want to especially thank the providers who were part of the Therap Advisory Committee. Your wisdom and expertise will be relied upon as we move forward.
We know many of you will have questions and we encourage you to send them to TellDDS@okdhs.org. We will gather these and send out an FAQ addressing them soon.
