Administrative Letter 25-01: Transportation Rate Increase

Dear DDS Providers,

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the Transportation Rate for HCPC Codes S0215 and S0215 SE increased to $0.70 per unit. The unit rate is determined by the federal mileage rate.

New service authorizations (“PB” numbers) will not be issued. 

Please update your billing processes to reflect the rate increase for services provided on or after January 1, 2025. For any questions about billing, please contact DDS Provider Support.

For state funded transportation (procedure code S0215 SE), new service authorizations (“MC” numbers) will be issued at the new rate. Providers will be sent the new authorizations as soon as they are issued.
