Oklahoma TEFAP Eligibility Criteria

TEFAP Eligibility Criteria for Home Consumption (TEFAP Food distributed by Food Pantries): Individuals and households in Oklahoma are eligible to receive TEFAP Foods at participating food pantries based on Residency, Adjunct Eligibility, and Income Eligibility.  Residency: Only Oklahoma residents may receive USDA Foods from TEFAP partners in the state. If a household identifies as homeless, the household may use the zip code and county of the nearest shelter or Oklahoma Human Services Office for intake purposes.  Households should visit the TEFAP pantry nearest to their residence.  Adjunct Eligibility: Applicants for TEFAP who participate in specific Federal programs, including SNAP, FDPIR, SSI, WIC, and CSFP, will be considered income eligible for TEFAP.  Income Eligibility: Participation in the TEFAP household distribution program requires that a household meet income eligibility at 200% (percent) of Federal Poverty Guidelines. The chart below reflects the current Income Eligibility Guidelines for TEFAP for 2026.  Please note the Guidelines are updated annually and are subject to change.
