Subject:  Plan Validation Rules

The Harmony Plan Validation rules that have been turned off since our Harmony update on 4/5/2020 have been updated and will be turned back on tonight (12/9/2020) during the normal maintenance window.

Beginning 12/10/2020, all Case Managers/Case Manager Supervisors for ADvantage and Home Care Nurses for SPPC will need to run the plan validation prior to submitting the plan to MSU for review. If there is a plan validation error showing that the user believes is incorrect, they should include this information in a Plan Note to indicate they are aware of the validation error. MSU can then override the validation error as appropriate.

A Plan Validation Information folder has been added to the Library site. A list of all Plan Validation Errors along with some specific information about those errors is located in this folder and will be updated as needed.

Running the Plan Validation:

From the specific Member Plan select the “Plan Information” sub-tab
Then hover over “File” and select “Save and Validate Plan”

From there a pop-up message will appear with an option to view errors or advising there are no errors.
