Medicaid Services Update

To:  All Assisted Living and Adult Day Health ADvantage Providers

Subject: Assisted Living & Adult Day Health Quarterly Provider Training

Date:  October 7, 2021

Registration is now available for the ADvantage certified Assisted Living (AL) and Adult Day Health (ADH) Quarterly Provider Training.  This mandatory training will be for all AL/ADH Directors, AL Registered Nurses, AL/ADH Directors of Nursing or Care, AL/ADH Intake Personnel, and/or AL/ADH Activities Director.

The training will be held virtually on October 20, 2021, via Zoom.  The training will last from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.    

This training is open to all AL and ADH Providers.  Topics will include HCBS Rules and Community Integration Reporting, Harmony presentations, and portal training from Adult Protective Services (APS).  The HCBS Statewide Transition Plan Audit Process for FY2022 and the final steps to 100% HCBS Compliance in FY2023 will be discussed as well. Providers must be at 100% compliance with the HCBS Rules by the end of June, 2022, as required by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
