Subject:  NOTICE of FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION

Date:  July 13, 2020

We have recently been notified of individuals fraudulently representing themselves as providers of ADvantage services to gain access to Members and their homes, for the purpose of malicious acts. These incidents have been reported to law enforcement. 

Please contact your Members immediately and ensure they are aware of your agency's safety policies.  Members should always be notified when someone is scheduled to come to their home.  Providers visiting Members should always have proper ID to present before entering the Member's home.  Please remind Members that they should ask for ID and never let anyone into their home that they do not know and weren't expecting.
