Subject:Correction to SmarterMail sent 03/28/2019
Please disregard email sent on 03/28/2019 via SmarterMail, as the following information it contained was incorrect and sent in error:
"TO EXPEDITE CD-PASS REVIEWS, PLEASE CONTINUE TO USE CD-PASS REVIEW instead of SPA Review if needing CD PASS Review- CD PASS will be your first stop for all CD-PASS Revs. Information in LandL 3/28 was incorrect. Sorry for the confusion."
Please be advised that the bulletin dated 11/28/2018, providing instruction on the Service Plan Submission Process, remains in effect as re-stated below:
"When changing the status for submission to the MSU-AA, always select 'SPA Review' from the drop-down list, regardless of the direction given by plan validation. (See below for screen shot of this activity)"
This process change supports faster service authorization. Routing of service plans to the various review teams continues to be completed internally by MSU-AA staff.
The only exception to the information above, as stated in the bulletin dated 01/14/2019, is:
"Going forward, Clinical and CD-PASS staff will advise in a Plan Note containing the condition when the Case Manager should route the response to a specific review team. If there is no direction to route to a specific review team, the status should be set for SPA Review per the normal process."
