Subject:HIPAA Violations

 
The Medicaid Services Unit – ADvantage Administration (MSU-AA) is issuing the following reminder to all ADvantage and State Plan Personal Care Providers:

It is a violation of HIPAA to send identifying Member information through unsecure email.  This violation also includes any documents attached to an unsecure email.

Please send all protected information and documents through PQ in Harmony.
