AAU Form Update: Mailing to the ADvantage Administration Unit

May 26, 2011

In an effort to help agencies avoid unnecessary postage costs as well as to prevent delays in the receipt and processing of agency paperwork being mailed to the AAU, please review the following pointers:

  • The United States Postal Service (USPS) imposed a postal rate increase Effective April 17, 2011. To avoid postage shortage and subsequent returned mail please make sure your agency is applying the appropriate amount of postage before mailing. Current USPS mail postage rates can be viewed at http://postcalc.usps.com/. As a matter of information, be advised that the USPS offers Priority Mail Flat Rate Options with free mailing supplies  (envelopes or boxes) that may be of cost savings to your agency.
  • Documentation for individual Members does not have to be mailed separately. It is perfectly acceptable to place documentation for multiple Members in the same mailing envelope. However, please be certain that each page of documentation has the correct Member name and ID number on it.
  • All mail being sent to the AAU should be addressed to:
    OKDHS ADvantage Administration Unit
    P.O. Box 50550
    Tulsa, OK 74150-0550

Please do not address mail to the AAU’s physical address. The USPS will not deliver mail to the individual floors within the building or beyond the main entrance. Therefore, the AAU, which is located on the 4th floor of the building, has no means of securing mail or signing for mail delivered to the physical address. The mail being sent to the AAU’s post office box is picked up daily, Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays).
