ADvantage Administration Unit Update: OK AuthentiCare Training for Group 2

Feb. 26, 2010

When:
Friday, March 26, 2010
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.(lunch on your own)

What:
Training for providers in Group 2

In this training, representatives of the provider agency will learn how OK AuthentiCare will enhance their daily operation. To use the system, each agency must routinely

  • Train its workers to use the interactive voice response (IVR) to record services provided,

  • Schedule workers to provide services (optional),

  • Manage worker, client and authorization data and

  • Confirm claims before they are submitted to OHCA for payment

Who:
It is strongly recommended that at least one staff member from each branch office of the provider agency attends the training session.

We anticipate that those who schedule in-home workers and billing staff will use the system daily and will benefit most from the training session. Attendees will receive the OK AuthentiCare PIN for each branch office. It is required for initial access to the system.

Why:
Group 2 providers may begin using OK AuthentiCare as soon as they choose after training but must be using the system fully by May 8, 2010.

After training and before having workers use the IVR, providers must assure that data about each branch office, their clients and their workers is accurate in OK AuthentiCare. They must also train all their home care workers to use the IVR. Detailed instructions for accomplishing these tasks will be provided during the training.

Where:
OSU-Tulsa Campus
North Hall, Room 150
700 N. Greenwood Ave.
Tulsa, OK 74106

Training materials will be provided to you in electronic form approximately two weeks before the scheduled training.

For planning purposes, please advise Jeanene Bushyhead of the following information by March 23rd:

  • How many from your agency will be attending the training

  • How many individuals work for your agency

At the training you will receive a supply of key fobs for distribution to you workers to assist them in using the IVR.

Please address any questions to Jeanene and she will forward them to the correct responder.

Thank you for your assistance.
