What is it about?
Unprecedented change has and continues to occur in the delivery and coordination of ADvantage and State Plan Personal Care Services. The focus of this Regional Provider Training is to present information about some significant program changes that will unfold in the upcoming year and refresher training on topics providers often inquire about.
Offerings for the Spring 2018 MSU Regional Provider Training discussion will include:
- Billable vs. non-billable Case Management
- CURES Act: CD-PASS/EVV Member Integration
- Assessing High Risk using MSU HRI Criteria
- Person Centered Planning in an Increasingly Technological Environment: "How to Keep it Real"
- Brief Discussion Regarding Harmony (New Web-based Waiver Management Information System)
Who Should Attend?
Agency Directors, Case Managers, Case Manager Supervisors, Trainers, Home Care Providers, Home Care Nurses, Assisted Living Providers, Adult Day Health Providers, and those responsible for scheduling, continuous quality improvement, as well as ADvantage certified Providers of specialized medical equipment and supplies, and home delivered meals.
Why Should I Attend?
This conversational training will provide up to date information related to ADvantage, as it pertains to recent changes in policy, process and procedures.
NOTE: Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions of this training however, for those who cannot attend the entire day, the first two bulleted topics will be covered in the morning session and the second three bulleted topics will be covered in the afternoon session following the lunch break.
