Document Deadline Change
In an effort to ensure the system, processes and Providers are prepared to experience the greatest level of success with implementation of the Harmony system, the go-live date has been extended to August 27th, 2018.
Response to Conditions
To assist with meeting the Harmony go-live deadline, the Medicaid Services Unit – ADvantage Administration will not accept any response to conditions later than Friday, August 10, 2018. The Provider will need to hold all response to conditions and enter them through Harmony, beginning August 27, 2018. This includes State Plan Personal Care.
ALL documents sent by postal mail must be postmarked by August 17, 2018. Any documents received with a postmark later than August 17, 2018, will not be processed nor returned. The Provider will need to hold all submissions and enter them through Harmony, beginning August 27, 2018. This includes State Plan Personal Care.
We will accept requests for emergency services in a priority situation via MSU.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interdisciplinary Team Meetings / Assessments
Providers must continue to conduct business in the best interest of the Member and per policy. All ADvantage services should continue as usual throughout the entire Harmony transition period: this includes Interdisciplinary Team Meetings (IDT) and monitoring visits.
Considerations include that the RN Evaluation/Assessment is to be completed prior to the IDT meeting, the Home Care RN is required to attend and participate in the IDT meeting as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Team, and the Home Care RN is required to monitor the Member a minimum of every 180 days. The Case Manager and Home Care RN must continue to work together to schedule assessments and IDT meetings to best meet the Member's needs and preferences while remaining in compliance and being the best possible stewards of the Program's resources.
If, within 60 days of the Members Service Plan end date, a reassessment can be completed and postmarked by August 17, 2018, then the reassessment should be completed. If a reassessment must be completed during the Harmony transition window, the Case Manager and Home Care RN can gather the information and enter the data into Harmony on or after August 27, 2018.
