Medicaid Services Update

Subject: New Provider PQ Status

Date: April 12, 2022


Effective 4/13/2022 a new Provider PQ Status of “Provider Request to Close Ticket” will be
available in Harmony.

When this status is selected, another field will appear to select the reason for the closure request.
The reasons for providers to use this status include:

If Other Reason is selected, the user must add a Note to the Notes Sub-Tab of the ticket to give the
reason for the request.

MSU will close all tickets with a status of “Provider Request to Close Ticket” and a reason for the
closure request identified.

*REMINDER: If a ticket is in a status of “Provider Response Needed”, the Provider must respond to
the note on the Notes Tab and then set status of the ticket to “Resubmission” to signal MSU that a
response has been added.
