​Notice of Cancellation of June and July (2018) Case Management

Orientation Training

The MSU is preparing to stage and implement a major training campaign for transitioning to the new Waiver Management System, Harmony, beginning May through August 2018.  The expansiveness of this project has prompted us to curtail our efforts in different areas in order to

accommodate provider training needs and to make available necessary support to help with the transition. 

Case Management Orientation Training normally scheduled each month will be cancelled for the months of June and July, 2018.  Several factors led to this decision, but overall, the current training format will change, and it would be best that provider new hires would receive training that is consistent with process changes.  Regularly scheduled Case Management Orientation Training will resume in August, 2018.

We are providing advanced notice to allow providers to prepare as no Case Manager certifications will occur during these two months.  MSU will implement a second training opportunity for Case Management Orientation Training in May, 2018 for providers' convenience if requests for training indicate a significant need for an additional training date.   A bulletin announcing the alternative training date will be sent if training requests meet the minimum threshold to warrant the additional training.
