What is it about?
Continuing open dialogue with local providers, this meeting will review Home and Community Based Settings requirements from CMS, provide training regarding common issues ADvantage Provider agencies face related to Quality Assurance/Improvement – Provider Audits & Processes, and review the UCAT for recertification.
Who Should Attend?
Agency Directors, Case Managers, Case Manager Supervisors, Trainers, Home Care Providers, Home Care Nurses, Assisted Living Providers, Adult Day Health Providers, and those responsible for continuous quality improvement.
Why Should I Attend?
This conversational training will provide up to date information on Quality Assurance/Improvement provider audits & processes as well as Home and Community Based Settings regulations, and the Recertification Unit will provide a review of the UCAT.
NOTE: Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions of this training however, for those who cannot attend the entire day, the approximate session start and end times are being provided so that you can preplan accordingly.The HCB Setting discussion will be from 9:00am to 10:15am and while focus is primarily on Adult Day Health and Assisted Living, this is good information for all Providers. Provider Audits & Processes discussion will be from 10:30am to 2:15pm beginning with Assisted Living and Home Care with Case Management after lunch. Lunch is on your own from 12pm to 1pm.
The UCAT Recertification Review discussion will be from 2:30pm to 3:45pm and while target audience is case management, this is good information for all Providers. Session times are approximate and you should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time indicated.
