Changes to the ADvantage Program Home Delivered Meals Conditions of Provider Participation
Effective July 1, 2013, there will be a change in the ADvantage Program Home Delivered Meals Conditions of Provider Participation (COPP). Please see the Meals-COPP, Service Delivery – Meal Procurement, Packaging, and Delivery, letter C. The following new language will replace the existing language, under the letter C.
C. “Meal providers may deliver more than one meal at a time if the Member’s home has proper and adequate storage and heating facilities as determined by the ADvantage Case Manager. The number of meals provided each week will not exceed the number authorized on the plan of care. No more than two week’s supply of meals may be delivered per week”.
