The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS) has issued official inclement weather guidance for state agencies. Oklahoma Human Services will follow DPS direction for Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Some counties will operate under a Delayed Start (until 10:00 A.M.), while others will remain in Reduced Services (through 5:00 P.M.).
Delayed Start (6:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.)
DPS has authorized state agencies to temporarily reduce non-essential services beginning at 6:00 A.M. and ending at 10:00 A.M. for the following 49 counties:
Adair, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Cherokee, Cleveland, Comanche, Cotton, Craig, Creek, Custer, Delaware, Dewey, Garfield, Grady, Greer, Harmon, Haskell, Jackson, Jefferson, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Lincoln, Logan, Major, Mayes, McIntosh, McClain, Muskogee, Noble, Nowata, Oklahoma, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Payne, Pottawatomie, Roger Mills, Rogers, Sequoyah, Stephens, Tillman, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington, Washita.
What this means: Buildings in these counties will open to the public at 10:00 A.M.
Reduced Services (6:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.)
DPS has authorized state agencies to temporarily reduce non-essential services beginning at 6:00 A.M. and ending at 5:00 P.M. for the following counties:
Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Choctaw, Coal, Garvin, Hughes, Johnston, Latimer, Le Flore, Love, Marshall, McCurtain, Murray, Okfuskee, Pittsburg, Pontotoc, Pushmataha, Seminole.
Buildings in these counties will be closed to the public.
