Oklahoma Human Services debuts new Children and Family Services Center in Alva

OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 10, 2026) – Staff members of Oklahoma Human Services gathered today to celebrate the opening of the agencies’ new Woods County Children and Family Services Center in Alva, located at 509 Barnes Street. 

The center will serve as a beacon of hope for families involved in the child welfare system.  

“Oklahoma Human Services is committed to delivering high-quality resources and services to our fellow Oklahomans,” said Jeffrey Cartmell, Director of Oklahoma Human Services. “We are honored to broaden our footprint in Woods County, enhancing support and fostering deeper collaboration within the community.”
