Friday, August 08, 2025

OKLAHOMA CITY (August 8, 2025) – Oklahoma Human Services recently celebrated the opening of its new Human Services Center in Oklahoma County with a ribbon cutting and tour of the facility.

Built with first contact resolution in mind, the center will serve as a beacon of hope for Oklahomans in need of services ranging from food benefits, child support assistance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and more. When Oklahomans visit a Human Services Center for resources, employees can determine their benefit eligibility, distribute benefits, and administer agency programs efficiently and effectively within one convenient appointment.

“Oklahoma Human Services is committed to delivering high-quality resources and services to our fellow Oklahomans,” said Jeffrey Cartmell, Director of Oklahoma Human Services. “We are honored to broaden our footprint in Oklahoma County, enhancing support and fostering deeper collaboration within the community.”

Agency employees and community leaders gathered at the facility located at 1124 NE 36th Street in Oklahoma City recently for a first look at the 20,000 square-foot-building. Doors officially opened to the public on July 30.
