News Release

Agency will still serve local customers

OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 21, 2020) – Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) will close its office in Latimer County effective Sep. 15, 2020. Local customers will not see any interruption in services as partnerships have been developed to continue to serve in the county.

Those seeking OKDHS services may make application for or renew services online at www.okdhslive.org and may still reach local office staff via telephone. OKDHS offices can also be reached at (405) 522-5050.

This closure is being made under the OKDHS Service-First model. This model allows the agency to prioritize OKDHS customers and workforce over physical structures.

OKDHS believes partnership and community engagement are critical components of service delivery. OKDHS will still be available for face-to-face interactions statewide thanks to the dozens of community partners who have enthusiastically agreed to serve alongside OKDHS.
