The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) is hosting a foster care information night to provide more information about foster care on April 12, 2017 at the Seminole Church of Christ, 12040 Hwy 99N, Seminole, Oklahoma from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to help people to find out more information on how they can become a foster or adoptive parent and other ways they can help a child in need.
There are approximately 9,500 children in state custody. DHS needs the help of local communities to care for these children. They need foster families to love and support them and to help them thrive.

For more information about the event, please contact the local DHS foster care recruiter: Shelly Gaines at Shelly.Gaines@okdhs.org.
