The Oklahoma Fosters initiative, a joint initiative between the office of Governor Mary Fallin and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS), joins Wild Things Farm to host a free event for families in the local community. The event will take place at Wild Things Farm on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of the event is to offer a fun time for foster and adoptive families and to provide information to local families about becoming foster or adoptive parents. There will also be information on ways the community can support current foster families.
Attendees will have access to a corn maze, hay rides, petting zoos, a mountain slide, swings and pumpkins. RSVP is required to attend. To register, please visit http://fosterfunatwildthingsfarm.eventbrite.com/.
