News Release
The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) Adult Protective Services (APS) launched a Quality Service Improvement Initiative during the month of August. Clients, caretakers, family members and community partners will be asked to participate in a survey to provide feedback on the overall quality of service APS provides. The evaluations will provide the Quality Service Improvement Committee an opportunity to identify initiatives that are thriving in our communities and initiatives that need further development. APS will use the survey to continue to assess, strengthen, and improve relationships with community members and partners.
"We believe this survey supports our commitment to continuous improvement set out in our Strategic Plan," said APS Director Gail Wettstein. "Clients, caregivers, families, county courts, law enforcement agencies and organizations that regularly work with APS have an opportunity to let us know how we can improve services."
The Client/Caregiver Survey or Partner Organization Survey are located on the DHS APS homepage. Results will be shared with APS partners.
"This survey is critical," said Wettstein. "APS is breaking new ground by seeking this information and our successful implementation of this process is vital to our standing in the communities we serve."
The survey closes Aug. 31, 2016.
